    This is a vintage unopened bottle of Durkee's vanilla from the 1950's.  The original price if 21 cents is stamped on the lid.
    There is no zip code on this bottle.  Zip codes did not begin until 1963.
    There is a Glidden emblem on the label.  Glidden Paint Company purchased
    Durkee's
    in 1929, and it became Durkee's Famous Foods, a division of Glidden.
    Then in 1967,
    Glidden merged with SCM, formerly Smith Corona typewriter company, and Durkee became the Glidden-Durkee Division of SCM.
